3 out of 5 stars Average cycling brief liner, could use more padding   September 6, 2010
Addy (Sunnyvale, CA, USA)
Pros: Can wear inside any shorts or pants
Light weight, keeps you cool.

Cons: The padding is not enough for long rides
I think it will lose elasticity in a few washes.

Overall: Good product for short rides without the need to wear cycling shorts.

5 out of 5 stars Good underwear padding   August 30, 2010
Antonio S. Abayon (Bartlett, Illinois)
This is a good underwear padding. I used this on top of my brief, and I still put on a biking padded short on top of this padded underwear to get some double padded protections. So, I really feel the difference when riding my racing road bike. It is a lot softer now to ride because of the double protection.

3 out of 5 stars Just average   August 27, 2010
Terry Hutt (Running Springs, CA)
These shorts are lighter and shorter in the leg than I'm used to, although the photograph is accurate. The padding is very light indeed.

I'm a long-distance cyclist so these aren't really up to the job. They're probably more suitable for a racer who is more concerned with weight than I am.

All in all I'd say these are appropriate for the price, but I don't think I'd buy them again.

5 out of 5 stars Fulfilling my expectations   August 20, 2010
Robert Jacobsen (Pleasanton, CA USA)
I bought these padded shorts to wear under my padded bicycling shorts - as extra padding to protect the vascular system for males. And they do their intended job just fine.

There could be more stretch in the fabric but for the price their function makes them an outstanding value for my purposes.

1 out of 5 stars Not for men   August 16, 2010
J. J. Joubert (A dingle close to the Withywindle river)
The Chamois is better than other liners I have seen, but it does not matter because the short is made out of really stretchy fabric that cannot keep it in place. As soon as I leaned forward to settle into my 13 mile commute I knew I was in trouble. I even got the Medium as suggested, since I am a size ~34. They ride up as soon as you lean forward and if you are a guy this is seriously uncomfortable.

If you have a more upright riding position like on a hybrid bike you might be OK, but I cannot guarantee that; the fabric is really flimsy and when you start sweating it is compounded.

Back to my Spandex riding shorts, yay! :-(
