On the Women's Ultrasensor Short, Ultrasensor cross-dyed stretch fabric quickly transfers moisture on the skin to the outer surface of the short for fast evaporation. The inner chamois also wicks moisture away from the skin for heat management and comfort. The Short's eight-panel design eliminates potential pressure points from the inseam while flatlock stitching provides a smooth zero abrasion surface on the short. With traditional 8.75-inch inseam leg length, the short provides maximum muscle support and protection while spandex leg grippers hold the shorts in position.

The Four-way stretch 3-D Elite chamois is gender-specific and reduces pressure points with differentiated padding levels in key areas. The high-performance chamois features natural silver antimicrobial fibers that reduce bacteria and help regulate temperature for a comfortable, long-lasting short. Additional carbon fibers carry heat away from the groin for maximum cool comfort. With 13 millimeters of moisture wicking, plush microfiber padding, the chamois provides all the protection you will need for long, grueling rides.

For best results Pearl Izumi recommends washing its products with detergents free of additives, such as fabric softeners and perfumes, because detergents with additives leave "surfactants" behind on a fabric's fibers that inhibit the technical performance. Hang dry the product or dry it on a low or warm dryer setting. Never use a hot dryer setting or use a commercial dryer as this will damage the fabric's performance.
